Photography: vast landscapes

In 2025, Stad & Natuur is organising a series of four photography workshops in collaboration with photographer Erwin Budding. This third workshop takes place on Sunday 7 September from 13-15.30 and the theme is: Wide landscapes. We will take photos with our own mobile phones, so everyone can participate.

What will you do Get inspired by the vast beauty of the landscape! In this workshop, you will learn how to capture the expansive views of the Almere countryside with your smartphone. We will explore the best techniques for finding the perfect frame, discuss which lens works best, and discover what to look out for to give your photos an impressive and professional touch. This workshop will soon help you look differently and take better landscape photos. Sign up and experience an unforgettable day full of photographic discoveries in nature!

We start all workshops with a cosy get-together in Stad & Natuur's workshop space on Kemphaanstraat 1. We go through the possibilities of your phone's camera. Then we will go outside in nature to work on mobile photography. Once back inside, we will briefly go into editing the photos. You can go a long way with this on your mobile phone, but you can also download a (free) app for this. The workshop will be held at Stad & Natuur, Kemphaanstraat 1 in Almere.

At home, you can put all the information into practice to master everything.

For whom

The workshops are for children from 8 years old, they must have access to a mobile phone during this workshop. The workshop is also for youngsters, adults and the elderly. There is something new for everyone to learn and especially suitable for the novice mobile phone photographer.
