Vintage market Discards
The Vintagemarkt Afdankertjes is 2.5 years old and growing faster than ever. What once started as a modest outdoor market near the Oostvaardersplassen and Rio de Janeiroplein in Almere Buiten has grown into an atmospheric indoor market with 35 stalls!
This market, where vintage and second-hand come together, takes place four times a year. Three editions are organised at the Cultuurdome in Almere Buiten, while the fourth edition is part of the well-known Poort Sociaal - Tomato Soup Festival in Almere Poort.
Visitors can expect a wide range of offerings: from vintage clothes and children's clothing to furniture, jewellery, lamps, designer stuff and even food. In addition, the market offers a complete experience programme with street theatre, live music, DJs, art exhibitions and creative workshops.
Popular exhibitors such as Second Heaven, CreatedByEs and Boekomloop are regular participants, and more and more vendors are joining. The reason? The casual atmosphere and friendly community make every edition a party.
