Challenge Almere-Amsterdam
Challenge Almere-Amsterdam is not only the largest and oldest triathlon in the Netherlands, but also the most popular. This year, the race celebrates its 44th edition and once again hosts the European Long Distance Championships (3.8 kilometres of swimming, 180 kilometres of cycling and 42.2 kilometres of running). In addition, there are numerous popular Side Events, such as the Middle Distance, Junior Challenge and RABO Business Relay. In the second weekend of September, Almere breathes triathlon! Around 4,000 participants each year.
