On 28 November, you can enjoy the dance performance Johnny by breakdance collective 155 at the Kunstlinie.

Next season, zaal X breaks out of the small hall no less than five times. In the programme line 'Powered by zaal X' you will see accessible, cool performances by makers with a strong artistic signature, aimed at a young(er) target group. So this time there will be the classic stand, but also the unmistakable zaal X look. Expect a DJ, a relaxed vibe and a cosy and inspiring side programme.

155 (eenvijfvijf) is a breakdance collective of creative friends, who grew up together and now create performances full of breakdance, comedy, stunts, spectacle and bizarre humour. The group won the Gouden Krekel 2023 with the hilarious 'CONTROLE' and the Volkskrant reported why: "Hilariously ironic, but also of a touching beauty."

'JOHNNY' will be another absurdist spectacle full of slapstick, think Jackie Chan meets Buster Keaton meets Flight Strip. Five stuntmen with balls of steel - and slight brain damage - await their big moment in an action film. But between the backflips, falls and laughs, the question arises: how many hits do you have to take to prove you're not a pussy? How do you stay yourself when you are always in someone else's shadow? And more importantly, what good is a perfectly executed stunt if you're ghastly by your ex?
