Flying above Almere
Always wanted to see Almere from the air? Almere pilot Lorenzo Karg is taking 18 lucky Almereans on a special trip over Almere as part of the anniversary year. Follow the instructions on Visit Almere's Instagram account to enter. Below are the conditions you need to consider when you are selected as a winner - good luck!
Conditions
Only 6 flights are possible, regardless of the number of passengers. If a flight is cancelled and wants to be flown at another time, it will be at the passenger(s) own expense, unless exchanges are made within the 6 flights.
Flights will last about 45-60 minutes, depending on the route chosen.
In case of unsuitable weather or other safety risks, last-minute cancellations (including after arrival at the airport) can be made by the pilot.
In case of cancellation/cancellation by the pilot, a suitable solution will be sought with the passengers.
For safety reasons, you must declare your body weight to the pilot in advance as there is a maximum weight allowed per flight. If the pilot wishes, passengers will be weighed in the club building.
Due to safety concerns, disabled passengers are unfortunately not allowed.
No drugs, alcohol or other form of "stimulants" consumption is allowed at least 24 hours before the flight.
Passengers should follow the pilot's instructions at all times, both outside the airport and inside the plane in the air.
Over Almere, there is no fixed route. The pilot is open to suggestions from passengers both before and during the flight.
Passengers are asked, after winning the promotion, to register with the pilot via mail. They will receive this mail address via DM from the @visitalmere account.
Taking video and photo footage is allowed and even encouraged, just ask permission from the other passengers if they will be on camera.
All occupants are insured on the aircraft lessor's policy. The lessor is liable in the event of claims. The lessor is not liable for damage to and loss of property of occupants
