Architecture as a neighbour
What do you actually see when you walk through your own neighbourhood? Why does a building have that particular shape, or why is it made from that material? Why is it always windy in that one spot? A city is shaped by ideas, the spirit of the times and even ‘mistakes’ that ultimately result in something beautiful. Buildings, works of art and people together form the place where you live.
In the bookable audio tour 'Architecture as a neighbour', pupils (grades 5-8) discover their own city district with new eyes. Together with an artist, they explore the architecture, art and stories of their neighbourhood. They listen, look, do and experience during an inspiring journey of discovery through the centre of their district.
